WTEF 2022 ANNUAL
SHARE THE LOVE GALA
SATURDAY | MAY 21, 2022

Join WTEF as we celebrate the continued achievements of our scholar athletes and come together to Fund-the-Future helping us to continue our work in building future life Champions!

YOUR SUPPORT IS IMPORTANT NOW MORE THAN EVER

The pandemic hit the Washington, DC area exceptionally hard and WTEF was no exception. After taking 2 years off to make sure the safety of our patrons and staff were priority number one, we are thrilled to bring our SHARE THE LOVE GALA back this May.

Saturday, May 21, 2022 | 6pm – 10pm | Smart COCKTAIL Glam

SHARE THE LOVE gala guests will enjoy an artful entrance into the gala for a lovely cocktail reception with premium open bars followed by a three-course gala wine dinner and award ceremony. Executive Chef Gael Cruchet is preparing an exquisite menu with wine pairings and Pastry Chef Patricia Serry Burton has created a custom dessert exclusively for our gala. Enjoy browsing our exciting Bid-It to Win-It Silent Fundraising Auction filled with unique experiences and items on which to bid!
Hosted by News4 Anchor, Mr. Jim Handly and featuring a heart-felt welcome by Mr. Frances Tiafoe, our awards ceremony will present awards to our distinguished honorees, legacy award recipient and student achievers. Plenty of surprises will ensue and we will activate the crowd with a lively Fund-the-Future Paddle Raise topping the evening off by dancing the night away to DC’s own, The Original Moonlighters.

Help us continue our mission to Build Future Life Champions by supporting one of Washington DC’s most impactful events, the WTEF 2022 ANNUAL SHARE THE LOVE GALA.

COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

There are updated health and safety requirements to attend SHARE THE LOVE on May 21, 2022.

With the number of COVID-19 cases rising due to variants in our area, all attendees of the WTEF 2022 Share the Love Gala must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. We will be checking vaccination cards at check-in/registration. In lieu of vaccination, participants may have tested negative for COVID-19 within 48 hours of the event. No exceptions. While we encourage and support mask use for all individuals, masks are not required at the event.  We feel that these measures are in the best interest of our staff, patrons, honorees and vendors. There are no exceptions. Please contact sharethelovegala@wtef.org with any questions about these requirements.

COVID-19 policies are subject to change based on CDC updates and guidelines.
